Job summary

AIRTEC, Inc. is seeking an experienced Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to maintain aircraft at St. Mary’s Regional Airport (2W6) in California, MD. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance per FAA standards and company procedures, ensuring accurate records and compliance.

Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, with a focus on safety, reliability, and timely reporting. This is a full-time, on-site role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Follow FAA standards and maintenance data.
• Interpret and apply aircraft maintenance manuals and publications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Possess FAA A&P certificate and relevant licenses.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft.
• Inspect engines, landing gear, instruments, and subsystems.
• Repair sheet metal or composites and replace components as required.
• Troubleshoot aircraft systems and maintain clean, organized workspace.
• Ensure maintenance records and company reporting are accurate and timely.
