Airtec Inc. in California, MD seeks an experienced Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Haiti/Caribbean AOR to maintain King Air/DHC-8 aircraft per FAA standards. You will ensure logs and reporting comply and may supervise contracted technicians.

The role requires FAA A&P certification, 3–5 years of maintenance experience, ability to obtain Secret clearance, and travel across the United States and abroad. Rotational 30/30 schedule and a comprehensive benefits package accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAA issued Airframe & Powerplant Certification.
• Certifications for specific aircraft may also be required.
• Possess and maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits as required for assigned work.
• Ability to secure a Secret level security clearance.
• Ability to successfully pass a drug test.

Responsabilités

• Completes aircraft and engine maintenance as required or needed.
• Follows established and normal aviation safety procedures and processes.
• Maintains complete and accurate maintenance records.
• Conducts scheduled inspections and completes follow-up as required.
• Inspects engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, brakes, valves, pumps, air-conditioning systems and other aircraft related systems.
• Complete necessary maintenance and repairs (replacements) on the aircraft, its subsystems, and components.
• Repairs sheet metal or composite surfaces and assemblies.
• Checks for and corrects corrosion, distortion, and cracks in the fuselage, wings, and tail and other subassemblies IAW with applicable instructions and directives.
• Troubleshoots as needed to all aircraft systems.
• Keeps a clean and orderly work area.
• Tool box must be inventoried and have a list of the inventory.
• Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hours.
