Job summary

CAE Inc in the United States seeks an A&P Mechanic to perform maintenance and servicing of aircraft at the assigned location in compliance with FAA regs and CAE policies.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and inspect airframes, engines, avionic/electrical systems, and ground support equipment, with occasional domestic and international travel.

The job requires reading technical documents and drawings, working outdoors on the flight line, and maintaining a safe, secure work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• FAA A&P license.
• 3 years’ A&P mechanic experience.
• Driver's license (US).
• Read and understand technical docs, schematics and drawings.
• Knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 91 and 43.
• Able to use hand tools for aircraft maintenance.
• Turbine powered aircraft experience desirable.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) desirable.
• Operational knowledge of aircraft, engines and systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft at assigned location.
• Perform sheet metal and composite repairs.
• Troubleshoot avionics and electrical systems; repair.
• Conduct aircraft towing operations.
• Service all aircraft systems.
• Recover disabled aircraft on-site or off-site.
• Service and inspect ground support equipment.
• Inspect, modify, overhaul, paint and preserve GSE and tools.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Carry out duties as assigned by Aircraft Maintenance Manager.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
