Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is seeking a maintenance professional to perform flight line and ground support, troubleshoot aircraft and engine systems, and assist with training of new A&P specialists.

Under general supervision, you will inspect powerplant components, repair leaks, review records for compliance with government orders, and support launch/recovery tasks. The role emphasizes safety and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two or more years of aircraft mechanical maintenance experience.
• May require FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
• Willingness to travel domestically or overseas.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Inspect powerplant and related components per procedures and government orders.
• Repair leaks and engine problems; may remove/replace airframe or engine parts.
• Review records to ensure proper documentation.
• May perform launch and recovery tasks and ground operations.
• Inspect, test, maintain and operate ground support equipment.
• Adhere to laws, regulations, and company procedures; maintain safety.
• Assist in training of new A&P specialists.
• Contribute to development of new powerplant/system processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
