Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI), an affiliate of General Atomics, provides military and commercial engineering services and leads in systems integration technologies. This role applies mechanical and inspection expertise, supports flight line operations, and develops procedures to improve work quality.

Under limited supervision you will train others, plan asset availability, and interact with customers.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and five or more years of aircraft mechanical maintenance experience.
• An FAA Airframe and Powerplant License may be required.
• May require extensive travel and/or CONUS or OCONUS deployment.
• Must demonstrate sound decision making and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervision in policy implementation and enforcement.
• Provide training and oversight to less experienced A&P specialists.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Inspect powerplant and related components per procedures and government/customer orders.
• Review aircraft records for compliance and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft and assist/train others.
• Operate ground support equipment and maintain a safe work environment.
