Job summary

Rio Staffing LLC. in Austin, TX is seeking an A&P Mechanic to perform front-line airframe and powerplant maintenance on general aviation piston aircraft, including Cirrus models.

You will inspect, diagnose, service, and return aircraft to service with rigorous attention to FAA rules, manufacturer manuals, and precise logging.

Qualifications

• Valid FAA A&P certificate in good standing.
• Hands-on piston engine maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform airframe and powerplant inspections per FAA and manufacturer requirements.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain piston engines and systems.
• Complete logbook entries, work orders, and FAA documentation accurately.
• Uphold safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines on every task.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to keep aircraft airworthy and on schedule.
