Job summary

Rio Staffing LLC. in Austin, TX seeks a qualified A&P Mechanic to perform front-line airframe and powerplant maintenance on piston GA aircraft, including Cirrus platforms.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair systems, log work orders, and uphold FAA safety and quality standards in a full-time day-shift environment.

Preferred candidates have Cirrus experience and solid knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91, with a commitment to zero-defect workmanship.

Qualifications

• Active FAA A&P certificate in good standing.
• Hands-on experience maintaining general aviation piston aircraft.
• Cirrus airframes experience preferred.
• Proficient troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, fuel, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect airframes and engines per FAA mandates and OEM schedules.
• Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical, electrical, fuel, and hydraulic issues on piston aircraft.
• Service and overhaul piston powerplants to keep fleet flight-ready.
• Log maintenance, work orders, and FAA airworthiness releases with accuracy.
• Enforce safety protocols and quality control on every order.
• Coordinate with hangar technicians to optimize workflow.
