Job summary

Rio Staffing LLC is seeking a highly proficient Aviation Maintenance Technician (A&P) for piston fleet operations at a premier training facility in Chandler, AZ. You will ensure safety and reliability of single-engine GA aircraft, including Garmin G1000-equipped Archers, through routine servicing, repairs, and heavy inspections.

The role offers a fixed 4x10 morning shift, a competitive hourly salary, and a comprehensive benefits package with health, retirement, PTO, holidays, and relocation

Qualifications

• Active FAA A&P license required at hire.
• At least 2 years of post-licensure GA maintenance experience.
• Experience servicing single-engine GA piston platforms (e.g. Cessna 152/172, Archer/Cherokee, Cirrus SR, Diamond DA40/42).
• Owns a comprehensive personal hand tool set for GA maintenance.
• Proficient with MS Office and Talon RMS for maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Perform 100-hour and annual inspections and routine preventive maintenance per 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues across piston powerplants and airframes.
• Complete logbook entries and manage digital work orders in Talon RMS.
• Interpret ADs, SBs, IPCs, and wiring schematics to maintain airworthiness.
• Maintain safe shop conditions and properly handle fuels and solvents.
