Job summary

HeliService USA LLC in Beaumont, Texas is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic/Hoist Operator to join our Aircraft Maintenance Team. You will perform inspections, maintain the AW169 helicopter fleet, and conduct offshore hoist operations for marine pilot transfers, day and night, on a 14/14 shift.

The role requires an A&P certificate, prior hoist/aircrew experience, and compliance with FAA regulations. Expect rigorous duty standards, safety emphasis, and a path toward mission-critical operations

Qualifications

• Active Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
• Prior hoist and/or aircrew experience.
• Annual “fit for duty” physical required for hoisting operations (not required upon hire).
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
• Must be physically able to push/pull/lift, unload, and maneuver heavy equipment and/or luggage in excess of 70 pounds for extended periods of time; must have dexterity for bending, climbing, balancing, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting and sustained positions in aircraft cargo holds and baggage bins.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and periodic inspections, repair and maintenance of engines, and airframes as required by manufacturer guidance, industry best practices, FAA regulations, and company directives.
• Be well versed in a variety of hoisting situations day and night, including high hoists, confined areas, elevated platforms, and vessel operations.
• Maintain cabin readiness and inform pilots when the cabin is ready, ensuring harbor pilots and passengers are seated within CG limits and equipment is stowed and secured.
• Maintain flight currency and training minimums as applicable.
• Ensure cleanliness of company equipment such as aircraft, vehicles, offices, hangar, and living quarters.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Base Lead Mechanic.
