Job summary

HeliService USA LLC in Norfolk, Virginia seeks an experienced A&P Mechanic / Hoist Operator to maintain AW169 helicopters and perform hoist missions. The role requires an A&P certificate, prior hoist/aircrew experience, and ability to work in a demanding offshore environment.

Salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually with a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation in a full-time, on-site capacity. Benefits include a comprehensive package with medical, dental, vision and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• A&P certificate is required and must be current.
• Prior hoist/aircrew experience is required.
• Annual “fit for duty” physical is required.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and periodic inspections, repair and maintenance per FAA regulations and manufacturer guidance.
• Handle diverse hoisting scenarios day and night, including high hoists and vessel operations.
• Ensure passenger safety and proper cabin readiness within CG limits.
• Maintain flight currency and training minimums applicable to role.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderly maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
• Support supervision by the Chief Aircrewman or Base Lead.
