Job summary

CAE USA is seeking an experienced Aircraft and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to service, repair and maintain aircraft at the assigned location. You will perform sheet metal, composites, and avionics work, troubleshoot electrical systems, and support ground equipment with preventive maintenance.

Roll involves rigorous adherence to FAA regulations, CAE policies and safety standards. Candidates should have an A&P license, three years of experience, and ability to travel as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED in good standing.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license with no violations.
• 3 years’ experience as an A&P Mechanic.
• Desirable: IA certificate and 14 CFR Part 147 school graduate.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, FAA regs (14 CFR Parts 91 & 43).
• Ability to read manuals, schematics and use tools safely.
• Experience with turbine powered aircraft is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance on assigned location.
• Carry out sheet metal and composite repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair avionics and electrical systems.
• Perform aircraft towing operations and ground handling.
• Service all aircraft systems and ground support equipment.
• Recover disabled aircraft including off-site locations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on GSE.
• Ensure safe work environment and adhere to CAE policies.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
