Job summary

Royal Aircraft seeks skilled aviation maintenance technicians to inspect, troubleshoot and repair general aviation aircraft to FAA and customer standards. Responsibilities include analyzing blueprints, work orders and sketches to troubleshoot and install required parts.

Candidates should have extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, familiarity with FAA regulations, and ability to estimate hours and material needs. High school diploma and valid driver license required; A&P license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe and Power Plant license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders and task cards.
• Accurate estimating of hours and materials needed.
• Proficient with ground support equipment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, drawings and work orders to troubleshoot and repair.
• Troubleshoot, repair and install parts to meet standards.
• Detect errors and escalate through proper channels.
• Schedule shop items to maintain on-time deliveries.
• Check mechanical components prior to installation.
• Estimate hours and materials for scheduled jobs.
• Operate required ground support equipment.
