Job summary

Vantage Aviation in Richmond, VA seeks an Aircraft & Powerplant Mechanic to inspect, maintain, repair, and service aircraft per FAA regulations and manufacturer specs. You will diagnose issues, replace parts, and ensure accurate maintenance records while collaborating with a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Airframe & Powerplant certificate required.
• AOA badge or airport requirements must be attainable.
• FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plus.
• Knowledge of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, 145.
• Aircraft maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspections, servicing, and repairs of various aircraft systems and components.
• Diagnose mechanical or electrical problems and replace defective parts.
• Lead aircraft projects as directed by the Crew Chief and Supervisor.
• Prepare and complete maintenance/modification records per FAA and company standards.
• Refer to manufacturer data and carry out tasks across airframe, engine and components.
