Job summary

AIM Philadelphia campus is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Instructors to train FAA-certified mechanics in our Part 147 program. If you bring hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, you'll teach in classroom and active hangar environments and benefit from a structured 5-day paid instructor training program.

No prior teaching experience required; veterans welcome. We offer competitive pay up to $40/hour, a $5,000 sign-on bonus through Sept 1, 2026, and a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in aviation or related field preferred.
• FAA A&P Certificate required.
• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach FAA Part 147-aligned curriculum in classroom and hangar.
• Deliver FAA-aligned curriculum to prepare students for A&P certification.
• Demonstrate practical skills used by A&P mechanics and aviation technicians.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and student progress records; support curriculum updates with program leadership.
• Help create a structured, engaging, and safety-focused learning environment.
• Maintain classroom, lab equipment, and training materials.
