Job summary

Envoy Air is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee the Dock Lines production functions, ensure housing and facilities are adequate, and maintain operations to support aircraft maintenance.

You will direct supervisors, plan and coordinate repair station activities, monitor costs, prepare reports, and enforce safety and regulatory compliance while managing multiple workstreams and personnel.

Qualifications

• Airframe and Powerplant License required.
• Strong managerial skills.
• Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of budgeting, policies, and procedures desired.
• Must read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to manage multiple work groups and deadlines.
• Must adhere to safety rules and governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to the Managing Director for overall operations for the production functions of the Dock Lines, including housing and facilities, and the continued maintenance thereof.
• Directs and coordinates department activities through subordinate supervisors.
• Reviews and analyzes reports, records, and directives, and confers with supervisors to obtain data required for planning department activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered.
• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of the Repair Station to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel.
• Gives work directions, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
• Coordinates activities of department with related activities of other departments to ensure efficiency and economy.
• Monitors and analyzes costs and prepares budget, using computer.
• Prepares reports and records on department activities for upper management, using computer.
• Analyzes records of daily operations to maintain knowledge of facility activities.
• Evaluates current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives to develop and implement improved procedures and practices.
• May initiate or authorize employee hire, promotion, discharge, or transfer.
• Enforces personnel compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations.
