Job summary

Envoy Air Inc. is seeking a Supervisor, Maintenance in Abilene, TX to lead line and overnight maintenance for all aircraft, coordinating Crew Chiefs and Mechanics to ensure safety and on-time performance.

The role requires A&P license, 2+ years in aircraft maintenance and at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity; strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of FARs and budgets are essential. Weekend and shift flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Must have high school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Minimum of two years in aircraft maintenance.
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of FARs and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to read, write, and fluently speak English.
• Must have legal right to work in the United States.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Avionics experience preferred.
• Experience creating and maintaining departmental budgets preferred.
• Working knowledge of labor contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control maintenance operations for line and overnight maintenance.
• Ensure qualified personnel are available and assigned to achieve airworthiness, availability and economics.
• Develop departmental procedures and ensure tools/equipment are maintained safely; provide status information.
• Ensure proper transfer of work between shifts.
• Provide support to Crew Chiefs and Mechanics as needed.
• Exhibit strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills; attention to detail and troubleshooting.
