Qualifications

Role Overview:

As a A&P Helicopter Mechanic in Rushville, Indiana, you'll play a key role in ensuring the airworthiness and reliability of our fleet, ready for critical emergency responses. This position is perfect for mechanics looking to sharpen their skills and make a real impact on patient outcomes.


Responsibilities:

  1. Perform daily maintenance and inspections to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
  2. Communicate with the Lead Mechanic about any issues requiring schedule or resource adjustments.
  3. Manage aircraft maintenance at field bases and ensure company asset safety.
  4. Prepare reports and ensure maintenance meets FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
  5. Maintain thorough documentation in RAMCO.
  6. Collaborate with the team to complete tasks efficiently.
  7. Oversee parts inventory and maintain special tools with proper calibration.
  8. Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements:

  1. High School diploma.
  2. FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  3. At least 2 years of experience as a Certified Mechanic.
  4. Basic communication skills and computer literacy.
  5. Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including drug screening.
  6. Sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting skills are a plus.
  7. Willingness to travel and work night shifts.
