Amentum is seeking an entry-level Aircraft Maintenance Technician I (R0148079) in California. This role is the initial level for certificated Airframe and Powerplant technicians, working under a Lead Technician to inspect and repair aircraft, engines, and components and return aircraft to service.

Expect approximately 50% travel to sites throughout California, with competitive hourly compensation and comprehensive benefits. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and disability plans are included.

Qualifications

• Possession of FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificates.
• Valid Class-C Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance practices.

Responsabilités

• Work under guidance of a lead or journey level technician and perform maintenance and repair to aircraft, engines, propellers, rotors, and components.
• Inspect systems for proper operation and condition and determine airworthiness of airframe and engine components.
• May perform Confined Space Entry Maintenance, including aircraft fuel tank repairs; travel ~50% within California.
