Job summary

US Federal Aviation Administration seeks a frontline supervisor to provide administrative and technical direction to assigned staff in support of aviation operations.

The role requires specialized experience at FV-J level, with demonstrated leadership, budgeting and program development under 14 CFR Part 121, 135 or 145, plus an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate and documented experience with CASS/reliability programs for applicable operations.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience at FV-I (FG/GS-13) or higher.
• Experience leading, researching and applying 14 CFR Part 121, 135 or 145 requirements.
• Selective Placement Factor: valid FAA A&P certificate and documented experience with CASS or reliability programs for Part 121/135 operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical direction to assigned staff.
• Lead program development, budgeting, and resource allocation to meet operational requirements.
• Coordinate compliance with 14 CFR Parts 121/135/145 and related manuals and publications.
