Job summary

Air Methods is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic in Texarkana, AR to perform inspections, repairs, and alterations on Bell 407 rotor aircraft in accordance with FARs and company procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, adhering to safety and quality standards, and communicating maintenance issues to PIC. On-call nights, weekends, and holidays may be required; candidate should live within an hour of the base and hold an FAA A&P license.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license (active) required or equivalent.
• 2–5 years related experience or training in aircraft maintenance.
• Active familiarity with FAR 135 operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft per procedures, ADs, service bulletins, and FARs.
• Verify part numbers and serials match documentation after installation/removal.
• Maintain aircraft maintenance documentation per regulations and manuals.
• Participate in the company SMS program and comply with safety policies.
• Keep work area clean and professional; support ongoing maintenance tasks.
