Job summary

Amentum is seeking an CBP Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance, repair, inspection, and servicing on assigned aircraft in accordance with 14 CFR, DoD data, and relevant manuals. Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid FAA Aircraft Mechanic certificate with A&P ratings.
• Experience in maintenance, inspection, and repair of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspection, repair, and modification of aircraft.
• Perform daily and turnaround inspections on all assigned aircraft.
• Troubleshoot and fault isolate aircraft systems; follow data and manuals.
• May fly on Government aircraft for relocation or in-flight checks; travel may be required.
• Use own hand tools unless provided by customer; comply with safety rules and regulations.
