Job summary

Lowcountry Aviation seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for a full-time, on-site role based in Walterboro, SC. You will inspect airframes and systems, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document all work in maintenance records while ensuring FAA compliance and readiness of aircraft.

Collaboration with pilots and operations staff is essential to coordinate with flight crews and prepare aircraft for return to service in a safe, organized shop environment.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Experience working in a Part 135, Part 145, or similar regulated aviation environment is beneficial.
• Strong ability to read and follow maintenance manuals and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect airframes and systems for defects and reliability.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and document findings.
• Perform repairs and replacements in accordance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with pilots and operations staff to prepare aircraft for return to service.
