Job summary

FlightWorks in Georgia is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Technician to support aircraft maintenance following FAA regulations and company manuals. You will work at line and shop stations, perform inspections, and sign for completed tasks.

Ideal candidates hold a valid A&P certificate, demonstrate safety-minded teamwork, and can communicate issues promptly to the supervisor. This is a safety-sensitive role with potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid A&P Certificate.
• Willing to travel as necessary for company business.
• Must stay compliant with FAA regulations and company manuals.
• Safety-sensitive position with random drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain various aircraft types in accordance with FAA regulations and manuals.
• Maintain adequate tools and ensure a clean, orderly work area.
• Complete all required documentation and communicate discrepancies to supervisor.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on assigned aircraft and approve return to service.
• Return tools and equipment to proper storage after use and report faulty equipment.
• Assist as Maintenance Coordinator when assigned by supervisor.
• Complete all paperwork for maintenance performed.
• Keep hangar, shop, and office areas orderly and safe.
