Hancock Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform high-quality routine and non-routine maintenance on various aircraft. The role requires thorough knowledge of mechanical systems and a high level of technical competence with meticulous attention to detail.

You will conduct inspections, troubleshoot, and document work per FAA regulations while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and collaborating with team members in Baton Rouge, LA.

Qualifications

• A valid A&P license is required.
• Experience in aircraft maintenance and repair.
• In-depth knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work well in a team and maintain professionalism under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems to detect wear, defects, and other issues.
• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks according to regulations and safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in aircraft systems and components.
• Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulations.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with other team members.
