Job summary

Vista Aircraft Maintenance Red Wing is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician II (A&P Mechanic) in western Wisconsin. The role emphasizes advanced troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on aircraft systems with independent work and mentoring responsibilities.

On-site work schedule is four 10-hour shifts with one weekend per month, reporting to the Accountable Manager. Requirements include FAA A&P certification and at least 3 years in a Part 145 setting.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certificate required and 3+ years in a Part 145 repair environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot advanced mechanical/electrical issues.
• Proficiency with AMM criteria and FAR Part 43 log input.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical work and component removal/installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced mechanical/electrical issues.
• Conduct thorough inspections and recommend corrective actions per AMM.
