Job summary

Advanced Air, LLC is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P) to inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft. You will ensure safety, compliance with FAA regulations, and readiness for missions, under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance.

The role emphasizes meticulous work and adherence to procedures. You will perform inspections, troubleshooting, and documentation, support SMS/ASAP, and collaborate across departments to sustain airworthiness and safety.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification (required).
• 3+ years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician.
• Strong knowledge of Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to pass FAA background/ drug screening.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and procedures.
• Support Safety Management System (SMS) and ASAP by reporting hazards and contributing to safety culture.
• Ensure all work is documented properly and compliant with FARs and manuals (GMM, MM, STC, ICA).
• Initiate and complete maintenance documentation at task start and close.
• Verify parts and components are airworthy and properly tagged with discrepancies.
• Assist in developing work packages to maintain aircraft airworthiness.
• Coordinate with procurement to identify cost-effective parts and minimize downtime.
