Job summary

Vista Aircraft Maintenance Red Wing in western Wisconsin is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician II (A&P) to perform advanced troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on aircraft systems. The role requires 3+ years of experience and proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems, with mentoring duties for other technicians. This 100% onsite, full-time position runs 7:00 a.m.

to 5:30 p.m. four 10-hour shifts, plus one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Part 145 repair environment or equivalent.
• Familiarity with aircraft and engine maintenance manuals.
• Ability to log maintenance data in regulatory-compliant systems.
• Ability to manage high-stress situations and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct inspections and identify discrepancies per AMM criteria.
• Independently manage maintenance projects with regulatory compliance.
• Assist in engine ground runs and taxiing operations.
• Guide other technicians on safe practices and tool use.
• Input corrective actions and log entries into Corridor software per FAR Part 43.
