Job summary

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey seeks an Architecture and Engineering (A/E) Program Manager for Major Capital Projects. You will help plan, design, and deliver the Midtown Bus Terminal Replacement and related tunnels, coordinating across disciplines from Stage 1 through Stage 5.

Lead multidisciplinary teams, manage scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure compliance with codes and standards while communicating progress to executives and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in A/E design and Project Management.
• 3 years of direct or indirect supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall management and coordination of A/E project activities throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Support the Project Manager and department leadership in coordinating multidisciplinary A/E teams and ensuring objectives are met.
• Assist with development, monitoring, and updating of design scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and milestones.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, Owner representatives, and stakeholders throughout all phases of delivery.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate design submissions and technical deliverables at each stage.
