Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Managing Consultant with an Engineering mindset to lead Digital Engineering initiatives for the Aerospace & Defense sector within the Intelligent Industry practice. The role focuses on strategic guidance, operations, and performance, delivering growth, profitability, and innovation for clients.

The position requires 7+ years in consulting or 10+ years in industry, with strong MBSE/MBE and GenAI maturity, and travel up to 75% depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in consulting at a leading firm (7+ years) and/or industry roles (10+ years).
• Experience in delivering major engineering, software-related initiatives with measurable impact.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong AI/GenAI maturity to enable internal work efficiency and drive client conversations around the topic.
• Strong understanding of PLM, MOM/MES, ERP, and MBSE solutions (business value, vendor landscape, capabilities and limitations).
• Hands-on experience in MBSE, MBE, digital twins, and digital threads.
• Ability to define strategic analyses and provide actionable recommendations for transformation initiatives.

• Deliver consulting engagements to solve clients’ toughest problems and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Assist in expanding Capgemini’s presence by identifying opportunities, developing partnerships, and achieving commercial success.
