Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Senior Consultant to support Engineering and R&D transformation initiatives, including PLM, MBSE, digital twins, and digital thread solutions. This role blends engineering expertise with consulting to assess current-state processes and define opportunities for value-driven improvements.

You will join Capgemini’s Digital Continuity/Intelligent Industry team, collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to proposals, and help shape future-state operating models for

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in digital engineering, software delivery, or tech consulting owning workstreams.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in transformation programs within Engineering or R&D for Manufacturing, Automotive or A&D.
• Strong value-driven understanding of MBE, PLM, MBSE.
• Understanding of PLM processes.
• Experience in MBSE, digital twins, digital thread areas.
• Proven ability to solve complex business problems using data and technology-enabled approaches.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with both technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to engineering and digital transformation programs across Engineering and R&D.
• Support MB E initiatives including Model-Based Engineering (MBE), Model-Based Enterprise (MBE), PLM, MBSE, digital twins, and digital thread.
• Collaborate as a team player to deliver engineering transformation projects for clients.
• Support proposals, client presentations, and contract pursuits.
• Drive innovation by staying current with industry trends, tools, and advancements.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Use data, analytics, and AI-enabled insights to optimize engineering performance and support intelligent decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape digital roadmaps and operating models for engineering organizations.
• Travel up to ~50% on average, onsite work at client locations as required.
