Job summary

ob Duties
Performs aircraft line support services to include receiving and dispatching aircraft at gates, push back and tow of aircraft, and conducting aircraft security inspections. Performs exterior/interior cleaning of company aircraft. Operates aircraft loading equipment and stairs to support maintenance activities. Assists aircraft maintenance personnel performing assigned duties. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be enrolled in and attending an accredited aviation maintenance program for airframe & powerplant certification: or possess an airframe and powerplant license (will not be exercising the privilege of the certificate)

Minimum Experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift/pull 50 lbs. Frequent kneeling, bending, squatting, and climbing required. Ability to understand FedEx express aircraft operations, procedures and servicing. Ability to interpret FAA, EPA and OSHA rules and requirements as they relate to aircraft in FedEx inventory. Knowledge of aircraft safety procedures. Knowledge of cleaning materials and their proper applications. Ability to operate all types of powered equipment. Assist aircraft maintenance personnel performing assigned duties.

Job Conditions

Must be willing to work odd weeks, rotating shifts, overtime and holidays. A valid non-restricted driver's license from the state of residence is required.

Non-Covered Safety Sensitive Position; Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
