Job summary

Brownsville Independent School District MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT is looking for an Assistant, A/C & EMS to support the A/C & EMS team in Brownsville, TX. Starting date is immediate and candidate must have a Texas driver’s license and at least one year of related experience in A/C & EMS repairs and installations.

The role involves assisting with troubleshooting, repairs, and completing work orders while adhering to safety standards and EPA refrigerant guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Driver's License and an acceptable driving record (required).
• Over one year of related experience in A/C & EMS repairs and installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the A/C & EMS Technician in trouble shooting and repairing A/C & EMS systems within the District.
• Assist in completing work orders and emergency calls, documenting labor hours, supplies and materials.
• Follow safety procedures and EPA guidelines for refrigerants; drive District vehicles as needed.
