Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in grades 1–12 within a school setting. You will work one-on-one with learners, implementing ABA strategies and collaborating with teachers and BCBA-designed plans to promote growth and progress.

This contract opportunity offers hourly compensation from $25.00 to $45.00, with eligibility for healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. The posting remains open for 60 days after the posting date.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification is required.
• Experience in K-12 or school settings is preferred.
• Solid understanding of ABA principles.
• Ability to deliver 1:1 behavioral interventions.
• Experience with data collection and progress monitoring.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized behavioral and academic support for students in grades 1-12.
• Implement ABA strategies designed by BCBA.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school staff to support IEP and behavior plan goals.
• Monitor students' progress and document data with accuracy.
• Encourage positive social, emotional, and learning behaviors compassionately.
• Model patience and consistency while helping students meet developmental milestones.
• Adapt support strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.

• Skilled in data collection and progress monitoring
• Demonstrated teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Flexible and organized, with the capacity to work in diverse, fast-paced environments
