Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one behavioral support for students in grades 1–12 in California.

You will implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision, collect data, and collaborate with teachers and therapists to promote positive learning outcomes.

This contract role offers flexible scheduling, professional support from a staffing team, and opportunities to gain experience across multiple grade levels.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required.
• Experience supporting K-12 students, particularly in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Familiarity with behavior intervention strategies and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach.
• Ability to observe, collect, and document behavioral data accurately.
• Strong collaboration skills with teachers, therapists, and administrative staff.
• Detail-oriented and able to adapt to the needs of varying grade levels.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized behavioral interventions for students from 1st through 12th grade.
• Work closely with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and school staff.
• Track and report student progress and behavioral data consistently.
• Adapt intervention techniques to align with each student’s unique learning style and needs.
• Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages positive behaviors and academic growth.
