Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a remote Mental Health Crisis Training Lead to develop and oversee employee training, deliver crisis intervention support, and coordinate schedules for onboarding. You will assess instructional effectiveness and KPI impact while collecting data for ongoing improvement.

The role requires clinical knowledge and adherence to accreditation standards, with a 24/7/365 crisis focus. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s in mental health or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, 3

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mental health or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Three years of relevant experience preferred; at least one year in mental health, trauma, crisis management, or suicide prevention required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee new hire training and coordinate schedules with leadership.
  • Assess instructional effectiveness and impact on employee skills and KPIs.
  • Collect training data and report findings.
  • Provide call/chat/text clinical screenings, risk assessments, and crisis intervention.
  • Facilitate bi-weekly skills-building sessions and staff trainings.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

This position is responsible for managing, developing, coordinating and conducting training following best practice for suicide prevention.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for development and oversight of new hire training and working with the Director, Clinical Supervisor, Program Manager to coordinate schedules to meet needs of both the department and new hires.Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIsResponsible for collection of dataDemonstrates high level of clinical knowledge and skill in providing call/chat/text clinical screenings, risk assessments, and crisis intervention to contactsFacilitates bi-weekly skills building sessions, staff trainings and staff development functionsMeets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditationKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESEffectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.Excellent management and supervisory skillsExcellent analytical and organizational skills.Ability to problem solve complex issues and deliver effective decision making.QUALIFICATIONSEducation LevelBachelor’s degree in mental health or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist for at least 2 years is required.
