Cummins Inc. is seeking a Shop Manufacturing Associate to assemble a variety of components and contribute to meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals on the production floor.

You will operate manual and automated equipment, follow standardized work, and collaborate with a team to ensure correct dimensions and characteristics of the final product. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to pass required tests, and be willing to work overtime.

Formación

• Must pass related testing.
• Ability to work in a team environment and on a production line.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble components to meet product specifications (dimensions and characteristics).
• Operate manual and automated equipment following standardized work.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and perform routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
• Participate in problem solving to address quality, safety and efficiency issues.
• Move materials using material handling equipment and support continuous improvement projects.
