Job summary

Cummins seeks a Production Team Associate for our Columbus, IN facility. You will operate manual and automated equipment, maintain quality, and support safety processes to meet production goals.

No prior experience required beyond a high school diploma; you will participate in on-the-job training and collaborate with peers and skilled trades to improve safety, quality, and efficiency on the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required. Must pass all related testing.
• Minimal or no work experience required.
• Operates machines and production equipment in a manufacturing environment with direct guidance.

Responsibilities

• Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Stop work and report major hazards.
• Report injuries/illnesses/incidents; comply with HSE standards.
• Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products.
• Maintain clean work area and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with peers and support staff to meet production goals.
• Participate in training and personal development.
• Contribute to quality, process improvements, and material flow.
