Job summary

The Waupaca County Sheriff's Office is seeking a full‑time 911 Telecommunicator to answer emergency and non‑emergency calls, dispatch police, fire, and medical units, and provide EMS dispatch support. You will operate E911 and CAD systems, enter accurate data, and maintain ongoing updates while adapting to a 24/7 schedule at the Communications Center.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, area geography including major roadways and landmarks.
• Ability to communicate effectively and precisely, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer 911 emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatch appropriate units.
• Provide Emergency Medical Dispatch until responders arrive.
• Operate E911 and CAD systems and enter data per policy.
