County Of Elmore is seeking an Emergency Communications Officer Trainee (911 Dispatcher) in Mountain Home, Idaho. This full-time role involves answering 911 calls, relaying information to police, fire, EMS, and coordinating with agencies to ensure rapid response.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (safety communications training preferred) and related experience in emergency communications. Training and certification will be provided as required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and dispatch personnel.

• Operate NCIC, CAD console, and mapping systems; monitor multiple sources.
• Communicate with callers and agencies to coordinate response.
