Responsibilities

• Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism and empathy.
• Gather critical information quickly and accurately from callers.
• Dispatch police, fire, and EMS using a CAD system.
• Prioritize multiple incidents while maintaining situational awareness.
• Monitor and coordinate radio communications with first responders.
• Enter and retrieve information from state and national databases.
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to callers during emergencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all calls and dispatched incidents.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, fire, EMS, and neighboring agencies.
