Regis offers a 90-day stylist-in-training position designed to bring a future licensed stylist into the salon workflow and to learn the business. The role emphasizes customer service, communication with management and staff, and learning through observation and hands-on practice.

Qualifying candidates must graduate from an accredited cosmetology program and obtain the required state license within 90 days. Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends is required, with base pay of $14-$15

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain the necessary license(s) to perform salon services within or before 90 days of hire-date.
• Ability to work in a dynamic salon environment.
• Good time management skills, good judgment, and the ability to multi-task.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Computer knowledge including but not limited to point-of-sale systems and data entry.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Market and Grow the Business promotion of services and products, including upselling and promoting additional services and retail items.
• Observe other stylists and managers at work and ask relevant questions to learn.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Control expenses and follow company policies.
• Promote and sell services and retail products to customers.
• Answer telephones, stock and dust shelves, and sweep hair and keep the salon clean.
• Complete all other duties as assigned by the manager.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in the salon.
