Laurel Ridge Community College in Fauquier is seeking a full-time, 9-month faculty member to teach Anatomy and Physiology and assist with curriculum development.

Typical loads are 15 credits per semester with 10 student engagement hours weekly; duties include advising, recruiting, service on committees, and collaboration with other instructors; teaching may be day/evening/weekend and on/off-campus, in person, hybrid, or online.

Formación

• Master’s degree in anatomy and physiology or related field with 18 graduate credits in anatomy and physiology or Master’s degree with 18 credits in anatomy and physiology.
• Demonstrate ability to work/teach in a lab setting.
• Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with Lab safety rules.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, analytical, and oral/written communication skills.
• Ability to develop courses in the field for traditional and non-traditional formats (hybrid/online).

Responsabilidades

• Teach Anatomy and Physiology classes as a full-time 9-month faculty member.
• Assist with curriculum and program development.
• Maintain 15 credit hours per semester; 10 engagement hours weekly.
• Collaborate with full- and part-time instructors for uniformity.
• Advise, recruit, and serve on college committees; use varied instructional media.
• Deliver teaching across day/evening/weekend, on/off-campus, in person, hybrid or online.
