Virginia Peninsula Community College is seeking a full-time Health Faculty instructor for a 9-month appointment. The role involves teaching health courses across campus locations, supporting student learning, and mentoring students in classrooms, labs, and distance learning environments.

The instructor will use instructional technologies (Canvas) and collaborate with colleagues to align student outcomes, with a focus on diverse adult learners and engagement across modalities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health science, public health, or related field or Master’s with 18 credits in a qualifying discipline
• Passion for health discipline and diversity; empower adult learners
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication for students and colleagues
• Willingness to adopt an organized plan of instruction and assess student learning outcomes
