Job summary

Prince William County is seeking a skilled 9-1-1 Systems Administrator to manage telephony and voice systems, NG9-1-1/ESInet operations, and the voice logging environment. You will coordinate vendors, manage reporting, and support mission-critical public safety communications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in telephony, VOIP, call processing, or voice logging system administration.
• Experience with 9-1-1 call handling platforms and NG9-1-1/ESInet operations.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day telephony and voice systems used for 9-1-1 calls.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, and carriers and prepare required reporting.
• Provide planning recommendations and status updates to departmental leadership.
