Job description

New Hire: Entry Level Rate $18.17.hr. Current employees with seniority in the bargaining unit, please refer to the Salary Schedule established by the bargaining unit.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Dusts horizontal surfaces, clocks, overhead screens, and blinds
• Wet mopping of floors, spot cleaning of carpets and hard flooring
• Assists with deep cleaning during break periods—stripping, scrub & recoat, carpet extraction, cleaning restrooms, glass, and furniture
• Trash removal
• Removes snow
• Minor grounds keeping
• Lawn mowing
• Assists with delivery of supplies
• Properly maintains equipment
• Reports maintenance issues to Head and Lead custodians
• Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements of Position

Ability to lift & carry up to 56 lb.

Ability to climb up to an 8-ft ladder and perform custodial task i.e., cleaning light fixture.

Ability to climb steps and work on uneven ground
