AMS teachers are collaborative, growth-minded professionals who believe all students can achieve at high levels.**Key Responsibilities****Instruction & Student Achievement*** ## Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned math instruction using AMS curriculum and instructional frameworks.* ## Differentiate instruction to support students performing above and below grade level.* ## Use assessment data to monitor progress and adjust instruction to maximize student growth.* ## Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong mathematical foundations.**Collaboration & Professional Development*** ## Participate in weekly professional development and professional learning communities.* ## Collaborate with colleagues and instructional leaders to continuously improve teaching practices.* ## Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and academic excellence.**Family & Community Engagement*** ## Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and academic goals.* ## Lead parent-teacher conferences and maintain strong home-school partnerships.**Scholar Culture & Support*** ## Implement PBIS and preventative intervention strategies to support positive student behavior.* ## Create a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes accountability and success.**Minimum Qualifications**Candidates must meet **one** of the following:* ## Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field **OR*** ## Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject areaAdditionally, candidates must:* ## Demonstrate strong classroom management skills* ## Pass required background checks and obtain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card* ## Demonstrate commitment to serving Title I and multilingual communities* ## Show strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven instruction* ## Demonstrate collaboration, initiative, and adaptability in a team environment**Compensation & Benefits**AMS offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support professional growth and long-term career success.* ## Salary Range: $44,770. – $50,550.
