Mncourts is hiring a full-time IT Infrastructure Engineer to support district courtroom and office workstations, ensuring optimal performance of network and AV infrastructure. Responsibilities include troubleshooting IT issues, managing service desk tickets, and providing training to users.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 5 years of IT experience, and strong customer service skills. A valid driver’s license is required due to travel commitments within the district.
This position will provide technical and customer service support for district courtroom and office workstations, mobile devices, network infrastructure, AV infrastructure and district production servers both remotely and on-site. Work includes hardware and software installations, upgrades, and support. Identify, troubleshoot, and correct problems with hardware, software, and components as well as review, prioritize, and promptly respond to service desk tickets regarding technical issues and problems, answer user questions, and train users in the use of applications and computer equipment. Provide courtroom AV support as necessary or as assigned. Track, document, organize, locate and inventory IT assets per Branch financial policies. Work-based travel is required to perform these duties in some cases.
Work will be performed throughout the Seventh Judicial District and travel to court locations will be required. Work will be conducted remotely and on-site, as business needs require. When working remotely, access to reliable internet connection is required. Typical hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
