About the Role:

You'll work closely with the District Court Administrator, the County Information Technology Department, and third-party vendors to ensure courtroom operations run without a hitch. As the designated Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC) Officer for Adams County, you'll also serve as the point of contact for criminal history information accessed by JNET CH users, managing CLEAN certification for the county.

This is a hands-on role with real independence — you'll be trusted to identify problems, propose solutions, and drive operational improvements across the Court.

  • Complete daily technology testing before proceedings begin, with a strong focus on preventing delays
  • Coordinate and test connections with remote participants and third-party facilities ahead of hearings

  • Facilitate and manage recordings of PFA matters when a Court Reporter isn't available
  • Submit and track work orders with County IT for issues beyond this role's scope
  • Manage AOPC access requests for CPCMS/MDJI/UJS and administer ongoing user permissions
  • Provide user support and troubleshooting for the Court's jury management software
  • Maintain the 51st Judicial District's pages on the County website, including linked documents and calendar entries
  • Coordinate with vendors on technology issues and elevate to County IT as needed
  • Stay current on emerging courtroom technologies and proactively recommend improvements
  • Analyze existing County, Court, and Elected Office software to identify opportunities to replace manual processes
  • Advise the Court Administrator on technology projects, including e-filing, case management systems, and digital/audio solutions
  • Support disaster recovery planning and testing for Court technology
  • Develop training materials and either lead or arrange training for courtroom technology end users
  • Serve as the Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC) Officer for the Courts
  • Ensure compliance with CJIS Security requirements for CLEAN and JNET, including audits, fingerprint authorizations, and re-certification tracking
