Job summary

Leech Lake Gaming is seeking a dishwasher to maintain the cleanliness of all tableware and kitchen items in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. You will operate the dishwashing station, ensure proper washing and storage of all dishes, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen in accordance with tribal policies.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishwashing machine and all associated equipment at the dishwashing station.
• Ensures all plates, silverware, glassware, pots and pans, and utensils are thoroughly washed and stowed in the proper location.
• Keeps kitchen free of garbage and spills.
• Complies with state and local sanitation policies.
• Knows where all soaps and cleaning chemicals are stored.
• Knows the proper use and safety precautions for all chemicals.
• Knows the proper procedure for trash removal to outside dumpsters.
• Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
• Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
• Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
• Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Certificates & Licenses: Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass a criminal background check, and submit to drug testing.
