Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Edina, MN is seeking a Pharmacist to provide medication management, clinical support and consultative services in a complex pharmacy operation. You will partner with stakeholders to educate patients and families, promote medication safety, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

The role includes seven 10-hour night shifts over two weeks, with duties potentially involving education of pharmacy students and residents and opportunities to contribute to process

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Minnesota (MN Board of Pharmacy)
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) or equivalent
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide medication management and clinical support in a complex pharmacy operation.
• Deliver consultative services and partner with stakeholders to educate patients and families.

This position may also participate in education of pharmacy students and residents.

Hours worked in this role will normally be documented as seven consecutive shifts of 10 hours in a two week period, paid as 80 hours of work. This position will be a straight night position working Thursday evening through Wednesday night.

Required Qualifications

• Pharmacist MN Board of Pharm

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year pharmacist experience in complex healthcare environment
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency program
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree
